The Fiasco with Pre-orders From Amazon

Amazon. Pre-order.

Those two words can put a grey cloud in your memory or a wonderful singing song bird.

If you haven’t been following my review posts on the Sailor Moon sale group I’m a part of, you never saw the up-close experience I had while pre-ordering the Kaleidoscope wand.

Everyone who collects or at least buys Sailor Moon things knows that this year between June 2016 and June 2017 was the year for 2 major things revealed in 2016: 1. The Kaleidoscope proplica wand and 2. The Tuxedo Mirage Memorial Ornament also known as the Tuxedo Mirage Music Box were both being released some time in 2017. Today I’m going to be talking about the Kaleidoscope proplica and my “interesting” experience as my first pre-order of this item off Amazon instead of going through a proxy to get the Japanese release one month earlier when it was released in Japan.

Let’s just say that my experience with Amazon in the authoring book releasing category hasn’t been the greatest either so I had no idea why my hopes for ordering the proplica was so high. Anyway…

I was so excited for the Kaleidoscope wand when the pre-order went live in March 2017! If you hadn’t guessed by now, I get excited about few things in life and Sailor Moon rarities (next to the holy grail items) is one of the things I get excited about up there next to wonderful new book releases. I pre-ordered this wand brand spankin’ new from Amazon by clicking the beautiful yellow PRE-ORDER NOW button. Yeah, that. Books have gone OK pre-ordering off Amazon (except for that one time I was supposed to win a giveaway for pre-ordering a 5-book set, but the author refused to send me the prize after she thought my vague post about someone reporting a picture I posted online was about her). (What an arrogant person! Right?) Anyway, I didn’t really think pre-ordering a wand was going to be a big difference from pre-ordering a book. Boy, was I wrong!

After clicking that PRE-ORDER HERE button, I excitedly waited for my confirmation reservation email from Amazon. You know the one, right? That auto-email that says, “Thank you for your order. Here is your confirmation number. It will be shipped on blah blah date.” Something like that. Well, I got my email. Poof …. I was excited! I let it go to the wayside. I practically forgot about it since real life started getting into my main focus.

In May 2017, I got a random auto-email saying my order was SUCESSFULLY CANCELED. That had never happened before. EVER. It was also odd since I worked in customer service answering phones about stuff like this so I literally KNOW what the other end of the chat was like. I wondered why one Earth I got an auto-email saying that I’d cancelled my own order of something I’ve waited years to get? I hopped on this tablet I’m currently writing this blog on, and copied my transaction number, the email confirmation number, and all that shebang before going online and asking for help from online Amazon chat resources. When I went to chat in the Amazon rep window, I told the lady exactly what you’re reading now: that my pre-order was cancelled without my permission a month after I pre-ordered something. I was worried…Remember this was the first time I’d ever pre-order anything besides books off Amazon.

The lady on the other end of the chat, kind as she was, told me that since it was canceled she couldn’t do anything (remember that I was in the rep’s shoes doing that job too once upon a time…) so I’d had to go back and RE-pre-order it. I replied “OK” and did that. I got the second confirmation number of my order and the second “Thank you for buying blah, blah, blah” auto-email again. I sent it to the lady who confirmed, my order on her end. I asked if the order was really there and she replied “Yes, I see it. It will ship and arrive to you on this date.” I said, “Great! Bye!” My hope was once again restored. The end. sarcasm/ Yeah, right! I wouldn’t be writing this blog post if that was what really ended my frustrations.

THEN In June, 3 DAYS BEFORE the item was to ship, I got yet ANOTHER email saying my order of the wand as successfully canceled. I was angry. I really didn’t think this would be such a big problem. I’ve never had a pre-order problem with BOOKS. Why THIS wand and why NOW? So! I went back online, called up the same chat window with all my transaction numbers, order number, emails and literally everything except the wand I ordered in my hand ready, and opened another chat window. The FIRST guy was impatient. He couldn’t understand if I’d ordered it, didn’t order it, or even knew my own name. He basically showed me not everyone belongs in a job, any job, and some people should really just sit on their couch and stay quiet while the rest of the world moved on. Anyway, I shut that chat window down, sent a transcript to my email, and reopened another chat window to get another woman who was kind and respectable. She helped me get my wand pre-ordered AGAIN and told me that my order was complete AGAIN, and that my wand will be on my doorstep by RELEASE DAY (on Amazon, the release day was May 29, 2017). I was not exactly excited this time around, because that gave Amazon only 3 days to get their act together. I sighed with a heavy heart, worried, and replied “OK” again. Only 2 days, the day the item was to ship to me, the wand was CANCELED AGAIN. Yeah, by now I was livid. I was going to scream this out to someone because someone out there was intentionally screwing with me. Again. Trust me, I’m not a lady when I’m screaming my head off to make sure I got this wand. I had never had so much trouble over an order off Amazon in my life!!

SO! Taking a deep breath that didn’t help any, I got on the chat room representative for the … How many times now? FOUR? Seriously? So, I got on the chat room AGAIN with yet another person who said the obvious, that it was canceled (DUH!), and I went through the same ride again with “Ordering it” and “It will arrive blah, blah, blah…” By now I wasn’t even believing these people and I made it very clear I didn’t believe the person who told me it will arrive Monday, May 29th ON RELEASE DAY. This was a 2 to 3 month battle JUST to get the wand. What a pain in my ass! Overall, I really didn’t think the wand was going to be delivered THAT DAY.

SO! 24 hours later, guess what? Yep! I was back on the chat room waiting for a package that wasn’t going to arrive. Why? Because the DAY OR RELEASE I got an auto-email saying my order was cancelled. AGAIN. By now, as I’m watching EVERYONE ELSE who ordered off the same pre-order brag about their wand, I was sitting here wondering what the fuck was wrong with Amazon. I was going to punch someone. If I couldn’t do it in person, I was going to throw a fist at someone over the net.

SO! I did just that. I went onto the Amazon chat window, low and behold I got the SAME GUY as the impatient one who blew me off (according to my chat window transcripts) (Oh the fun) previously, and I was going to verbally smack him around some. I did just that…ON THE WAND’S RELEASE DAY which I was supposed to get the wand, but I didn’t. Seeing red, livid, frustrated, and on top of it all, pissed off to the point I was actually going to punch a wall, I screamed out my entire frustrations on the guy who blew me off. He told me to calm down. OHHH! NO! Not the right response to a woman. Ever! (Take a note of that every single guy out there! The LAST thing you tell a woman to do is “calm down” while she’s in a blind rage. If you get your junk kicked or punched, you earned it.) Anyway, I went into a blind rage over the wand, how it was cancelled on me more times than I could even fathom, and I needed to take my frustrations out on someone. Good thing it was the guy who blew me off before and not the nice lady who helped me. I told him exactly what I was feeling right down to if this order doesn’t get here TOMORROW I will be … Yes, I threw in the L word. Scary? Yes, I think I was.

So! The guy made the order FOR ME, put it on a 10% OFF the purchase FOR ME, AND FREE SHIPPING (the shipping alone was $28.99 to get it to me so fast) and had it arriving on that Friday, June 3rd. I was livid. I made him VOW to me that he’d get the wand to me. (Funny considering, he didn’t want to deal with me the first time around. Karma on him? Yes, I think so.) He gave me my tracking number, my order number, basically every number to prove I had it coming to my address on June 3rd. I even made him sit there on that chat until I got the confirmation email that I ordered it. Well, the email came and I settled from a raging boil to a simmering bubble of half contentness. When the guy asked me the normal “Is there anything else I can help you with?” question which, as a previous customer representative who worked in that job too, I knew it was just the typical one-liner to use before ending the chat. I was rude at this point and honestly, with the run-around, Amazon screwing with me just for the hell of it, I think I earned a second of being rude that time. I gave the flipper to my my screen (obviously the guy couldn’t see me), closed the chat window down without another word, and went back to my life after a very deep breath or three.

I came home from a day in town on Friday, June 3rd to find a HUGE box sitting on my front doorstep. It was HUGE. Like I’d never seen anything that big before. After ordering 50 paperback of my own novels from Amazon to sign and ship out to readers and bloggers, even that box didn’t compare to this one.

I threw my stuff on the dining room table, gently put the Amazon box with the little half-smile edges on my kitchen counter, pulled out a pair of scissors, and slowly with gentle kindness, started to open the tape. To my amazement, the huge wand in its huge box was even more beautiful in person. 2 months of fighting for this wand was worth it. I was a happy fangirl.

And that is why I’ll never pre-order anything Sailor Moon related, or toy related, from Amazon again. Ever! That was enough of a fiasco to make me realize that getting a proxy and ordering directly from Japan just to get it here in America is worth the extra shipping cost to fly my stuff over the ocean. Yes, it will be a tad big expensive, but anything to avoid THAT disaster bullcrap runaround will be worth it.

My overall rating for my first time using Amazon’s pre-order feature on something not book related is a 1-star out of 10-star.

Why Postpone A Book Release?

The big question!

My final novel was supposed to be released April 22nd on the 1-year anniversary of my author debut. Then my life upgraded from “coach” to “First Class”. I went from a wanna-be author to a published author under a publishing house in 13 months. My art which was featured in a coloring book hit BESTSELLERS for 2 months straight, and my novels were selling. I had to quit my low-paying job to fit in writing so much, because so many readers wanted the end of the series. So here I am, writing the end of the series…without The End. Why?

Life. That’s why. Life.

I’ve come across so many life changes in the last 6 months. I got a better paying job: being an author, I now live with the love of my life, and our cats, one of whom thinks he’s a human so he struts around the house being “King of the Mountain”. I’m sure there are plenty of cats like our Simba. Hahaha….

Simba even has his own fan following, animal and author-book lovers who think Simba’s just the cutest thing. He’s kind of famous and all he does is pose for photos. Hahaha….

Anyway, I pushed my finale book release from April 22nd to May 25th to June 3rd…and now it’s postponed. Again. Why? Because Life.

I don’t want to release a half-assed short story that readers can swallow in 1 night-read-a-thon. I want readers to get used to the many chapters and the differences in each book’s themes.

Crystal Dreams Book 1 was all “happy-chipper-introductions”. Killer Dreams Book 2 was bloody, gore, action, and war. Then came Darkness Dreams Book 3 with unfiltered gore, killings, civil fights, unfiltered love moments, and more….Now with the end of the series, I have 1 more thing to finish and close the curtains on this series for good. Fortunately though, readers asked what happened to the story before Crystal Dreams Book 1…and I am writing the beginning to the story that began before Crystal Rose from Book 1 met King Thomas.

Life has gotten in the way of writing book 4. Working on other writing projects has gotten in the way. On top of all that, I’ve gotten back to drawing, and creating videos for my Author Tracy Millosovich YouTube channel. That’s taken up time too.

So at least I’m not just sitting on my hands with nothing going on. I’m actually doing something. Yes, you may get upset that the story didn’t end in April, but I wasn’t comfortable with the story line then. I am working on it more now as life goes on. I may not be able to control time or keep it from flying away, but I can use time to the best of my day: being productive. And that’s what I’ve been doing.

P.S. After the Crystal Dreams series ends, I will be releasing the Four Seasons Series with book one: Spring coming Spring 2018 along with a real life story I’ve been writing since 2011!!

Review of The Fate of the Fast and the Furious

Review of…

The Fate of the Fast and the Furious!!

I grew up watching the original Fast and Furious movies. It was one of the greatest movie series in my generation (there are more, but this is just about the one movie franchise). The street racing and epicness in Fast and Furious spawned my family’s love for cars, racing, mechanics, and more. It definitely spawned my love for action packed movies and writing the BOOM-factor moments in my book series: Crystal Dreams, Killer Dreams, Darkness Dreams, and Forever Dreams. It’s more than likely what inspired me to write the warzones, magical fights, and chase scenes in my novels.

The Fast and the Furious: One Last Ride left a sense of closure for me, a gigantic “The End” that left my love for the story sated. I was a happy fan when I found out last year that The Fate of the Fast and the Furious was coming. I really hoped there’d be a way to bring Brian, y’all know Mister Paul Walker’s brothers helped, back for a 10 second viewing cameo or at least we’d get to see the back of his head. I’m grateful they made a gigantic nod to Paul we all knew as Brian. There’s also symbolism for Vin D’s child being named after Paul too (hint, hint). Can I just say that Letty’s faith in Dom is…just wow. That lady loves him for the world. Not just “To the Moon and Back,” but like undying, unwavering, unconditional, I’ve-never- seen-or-read-that-much-love-before kind of love. She almost seemed like she worshiped him. Well folks, that’s the love. I especially loved how much faith Letty had in Dom. Even after he was being blackmailed into helping that god-awful blonde lady, Letty still believed in Dom, that he wasn’t himself. She believed in him despite him putting a gun in her face, racing her through the streets of New York, and nearly sending her into the icy waters of Russia. F.Y.I. That blonde takes the cake for doing evil and wicked.

Anyway, the family-love, devotion to each other, and loyalty seen in previous movies spreads it on really, really thick in The Fate of the Fast and the Furious. You know what else they spread on super gooey thick like it was the last thing on Earth? Blowing stuff up! From hundreds of remote controlled cars and a submarine to a heat-seeking missle and of course let’s not forget dodging the endless amount of bullets to redirecting a submarine missle, they spared no expense in the KA-BOOOOM department. I think, though, that it might’ve gone a tad bit overboard. What was I thinking? Nah! That’s what Fast and Furious is known for: epic fast car races and the BOOM.
There IS 1 teeny tiny, micro spoiler though. This is NOT the last movie in the franchise, because well…there’s just not enough space in 2 hours to complete the story this time. Good news for those of us who like the movie series! Race on!

Review of The Ghost In The Shell (2017)

My review of…

Ghost In The Shell – the live action movie

If you don’t know what Ghost in the Shell is, please Google it. Its an adult rated manga, anime, movie series that has a fanclub which spans the world over AND spans generations (from what I recently found out).

Ghost in the Shell’s genre is science fiction – heavy in the kick-butt, action department. If you’ve seen the original VHS and DVD Ghost in the Shell movies (because, well, it was originally in VHS back when the original movie was released), then I can tell you that 95% of this 21st century remake into live action version is almost verbatim to the original animated release. So much so that despite it being a live action remake, they opened this exactly like the original animated movie did. They didn’t even bother to edit out seeing Major’s nipples during her shell’s creation (you see it in the animated movie too). They definitely left the gore in, but when a bullet hits someone…no blood. Like none. In the animated version though, there was a ton of adult content including the blood and gore. That’s just how Ghost in the Shell is.

The storyline follows exactly what the animated version does. Right down to the garbage guy running down the ally away from Major and on top of the building in the water’s reflection…then she’s chasing him…and all.

The difference in the movie now as opposed to the original animated movie is (apparently) that the original movie’s storyline was confusing (really?). But they cleared up the storyline in this live action movie. It’s way easier to follow now especially if viewers weren’t originally introduced to the 1990s anime first.
Overall, this remake is definitely a good walk down memory lane for us Ghost in the Shell fans and a good introduction to the franchise. If the movie follows the original animated movies, this Ghost in the Shell movie will not be the last. Expect to see more Major in the next live action Ghost in the Shell movie.

Author Life – The End to Crystal Dreams – Where do I go from here?

It’s currently 11pm-ish as I sit up late, and punch through this. As emotional as I am (and sometimes dramatic) about writing, this is seriously the hardest I’m falling. You read that right. I’m writing, and I’m falling. It’s like I’ve been gutted, and my heart hurts.

For the last 20 years of my life, literally, I’ve been writing, and rewriting my Crystal Dreams novel. If you’ve followed the start of my author Tracy Millosovich Facebook page since October of 2015 (link below!), then you know that writing is my dream come true. It’s in my blood. (So is being an artist.) My entire family is artistic, and creative so it’s only natural that I found my niche in life as a creative person too, as an author.

Anyway, since I’ve rewritten my Crystal Dreams novel in the the 2015 NaNoWriMo competition into a real book which published in April 2016, I originally thought that was it. Only 1 novel. Poof! The End. Until, as you’ve seen on my online presence, my Crystal Dreams standalone novel turned into Crystal Dreams Book 1, Killer Dreams Book 2, Darkness Dreams Book 3 (releasing December 2016!)…and now….Forever Dreams Book4! I was suddenly so blessed to not only to be writing, which I absolutely love, but to turn my dream of writing into a full time career.

I love writing with a passion! It’s not just a hobby for me or a career choice, and we all know how many career choices there are in the working world. I can’t speak for anyone else, but writing, to me, is the only thing that matters in life. I take my job as an author seriously.

Where do I go from here?

Like I said, I’ve spent most, if not all, of my life writing this Dreams series. I started as a 7 year old kid with a dream, a pencil, and a 10 cent spiral notebook turning my dream into my reality. Now that creating, molding, and expanding this Crystal Dreams world is over ¾ of the way completed, I really don’t know how to proceed.

It’s like part of me is closing, and locking the door to something that’s been a part of me for so long that it’s hard to imagine “The End” as an option. Actually, ending this series was never an option when I started writing it last year. As Smith said, “Everything that has a beginning has an end…” (Yes, I totally just quoted that. Hahaha…) But it’s true. As I write the end to the Dreams series, I’m faced with an empty canvas of black, white, and grey.

I will forever love my Dreams series, its characters, the tough times it’s helped me through, boy there were difficult times in my bullied-surviving days, but it’s come to a point where the storyline of this series is reaching its end. I will always improve its ideas. I will continue to recreate this series, and who knows. I might just do a re-release party with a better, upgraded, revamped release in 2018!…Whatever happens will happen. You and I will surf that wave when it arises.

Now that I’m done balling like a baby over the end to my Dreams series, which I never thought would happen, I’m delving head first into several new projects. As you’ve seen me hint online, I’m writing the 4 Seasons series novels (with no relation to my original 4 Dreams series novels), called Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. No, those are not the novels’ final titles.

4 seasons.

4 novels.

4 romantic stories.

The Seasons series will not be in the same fantasy romance genre as the Dreams series. Since this is my first time writing about something not magic-powers-Crystal-Dreams based, I’m afraid I might confuse you readers. Fortunately, the Seasons series novels are still romantic stories so I get to keep my crazy, romantic, dramatic storytelling. (Like that’s ever going to change, right?) So hopefully the confusion is minimal.

I’m also writing a…How do I put this?…Sci-fi-punk genre standalone. It’s called JL Beck Killer about a 20-something year old nurse whose life has become mundane, routine, and dull. Her life had become mediocre so she decides to take her knowledge of weapons, the human anatomy, and her love of helping people to the streets of a huge city, not to save lives, but to kill; murderers, thieves, pedophiles, rapists, and pretty much anyone who she saw got a ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card. As all my romance stories go, I also created “The Shadow” in my JL Beck Killer novel. The Shadow’s a mystery man who’s been able to get justice for the wronged without getting caught by the law. She, my novel’s main character JL Beck, stumbles upon The Shadow while trying to save a woman’s life. The Shadow uses blades as his killing mechanism while JL uses her custom made Glock, and other bullet holding weapons.

On top of writing the JL Beck Killer, the 4 Seasons novels, and finding time for my other secret projects releasing in 2017 through 2018, I’m writing my first erotica short for an anthology, and another short story in horror for a 2017 anthology (with the collaboration of one of my favorite online writers! GASP!).

Where do I go from here? I guess…shooting in the dark here…that I go where the wonderful, crazy, dramatic characters in my writing world drag me. Lord forbid I get a say. (I don’t get a say by the way.) Oh lookie! I rhymed!

Anyway, that’s what craziness to expect from me for the rest of this year, 2016, through most if not all of 2017, and part of 2018.

I’m also going to be in a few 2017 author signings, heading out on a trip to Arizona, and I’m still drawing free custom art for my Twitter followers between all the novel writing.

Am I busy? Always. Do I love working? Most definitely! But instead of showing up for a clock-in, clock-out office cubicle or table day, there’s nothing wrong with that, I now get to live it up as a PUBLISHED AUTHOR on top of being an artist! I get to live 2 dream come true careers, and still get to help people every single day. In honesty, there’s nothing in life I’d rather be doing than helping people too.

Thank you for supporting my dreams to be an author by buying my novels, and following me online.

Love you. Forever. Always.

Movie Reviews – The Curse of Sleeping Beauty

I don’t usually do reviews of books or anything else since so many blogs out there do that already. What’s another blog raving about Fifty Shades of Grey (by EL James), the Hackers series (by Meredith Wild), or the Something Great series (by Mary Ting), right? So here’s my review of something non-book related.

Three friends online recommended this movie. It’s only an hour and 10 minutes long (an hour if you cut out the intro to the movie, and the end credits).

The Curse of Sleeping Beauty on Netflix brings a horror-demonic spin to the beloved Sleeping Beauty tale I loved as a child. This is NOT the fairy tale kid’s kind of movie you show little Susie after her playdate. This is a darker, terror version of the cute Disney movie.

The story begins with Thomas who wakes up from a nightmare after seeing the beautiful Beauty asleep in a bed located in a dessert out in the blazing sun (because ya know, the story couldn’t be in a royal palace or something logical like that). Thomas finds out the uncle he only knew as the family reject but never met, died from suicide, and he inherits the giant creepy mansion which he sees in his dreams but never saw in person before. After trying to get an estimate for the old place to sell it, the lady who shows up becomes oddly obsessed with the place, and starts asking all sorts of questions. After some electrical power is restored, Thomas goes exploring, and finds a weird study filled with books, maps, and one particular book he takes out of the room before shutting the door behind him. This study is hidden behind a wall, and to open the wall, he has to cut his finger and smear some of his blood into a statue. (Totally normal, right?) According to Thomas’s research, that mansion has been in his family passed down from one relative to another for several hundred years, and every person who has lived there has died in some weird way or another after going crazy. There’s also several people who have been inside the house but have never returned. That realtor estimate lady’s brother was one of the missings, hence her interest in the house. She’s spent the last year looking for her brother. There’s also a tie between the sleeping beauty in Thomas’s nightmares, and the mansion he just inherited. In his dreams, she claims that she’s asleep in the basement hidden away in the mansion. To wake up, she prompts Thomas to free her with his kiss, but she’s being guarded by a demon, the demon of the veil between life and death. (With all this crap going on, Thomas never questions why she was put to sleep, and locked away at the bottom of a basement in the first place.) The demon of the veil thwarts any intruders to the mansion with her demonic followers. Those demonic followers used to be living people the demon turned into mannequin statues brought back from the dead. That realtor’s brother was one of the mannequins turned demonic. Thomas, being the prince he is, frees the Beauty, and her little secret. She’s not all looks.

The cute pictures on the Facebook page, and the trailers gave this movie a cutesy feel to it when in fact the movie’s very dark. Especially when the weirdo investigator guy got killed by the demon inside the mansion. They didn’t edit out the blood or the gore. There’s also a part of the movie’s intro where a finger is cut by the spinning wheel’s spindle, and a giant blood drop falls down the finger with matching creepy background music.

Overall, I give this movie a decent 4 stars out of 5 because this movie got kind of lengthy during all the dialogue where a “show don’t tell” would’ve worked better. Hey, at least they picked a very pretty girl to play the sleeping beauty, and Thomas was kind of cute.

I think it would’ve been better if the ending didn’t conclude with a cliffhanger.

Killler Dreams Book 2 by Tracy Millosovich

Buy Killer Dreams here:

Well there you have it!

My second book’s reveal, and release! (Killer Dreams Book 2 was released on August 15th.)

I keep getting asked if Killer Dreams Book 2 is a standalone novel since its cover looks similar but not an exact idea to my debut novel Crystal Dreams Book 1. For all you wonderful readers who love the standalone novels inside a series kind of reads, no, this is not a standalone. It’s a continuation of the story line from Crystal Dreams Book 1 (released in April 22, 2016).

Questions my readers have asked:

Question: What’s a “Mifa” / “Mita” in the book, and what does that mean?
Answer: Because the Tartan planet of magic in Crystal Dreams is based on monarchy rulers, there are Kings, and Queens. Simply put, magical creatures call their Kings “Mita” (pronounced mee-tah) while their Queens are called “Mifa” (pronounced mee-fah). Their royal Princesses are called “Risa” (pronounced ree-sah), and their royal Princes are “Rita” (pronounced ree-tah). Though, since Jason, the twin brother to Mita Thomas, is officially known as the loyal “King’s brother”, he’s both Risa AND Mita. Little secret though, Jason hates being called Mita Jason due to the duties of being a King that he hates being obliged to follow. He prefers to be titled Rita so he has a tad bit more freedom. As a royal Prince, he’s not obligated to show his face in public unlike Thomas, and is able to do whatever it is he does behind the scenes of running the royal world.

Q: Who is Crystal Rose?
A: If you’ve read Crystal Dreams Book 1 then you know that Crystal Rose is the human girl that the magical world, Tartan’s ruler King Thomas’s Queen (Mifa) Tara Rosa, reincarnated into. In Book 2, Killer Dreams, the POV of the novel changes into Crystal’s point of view where she continues the story line. She’s quite a firecracker living in the magical world of human hating.

No, the humans, and the magical world aren’t warring over this woman. The humans live on a dying Earth which turned them greedy, and they wanted the lush resources of Tartan for themselves. After starting a war with the Tartan inhabitants, which cost a magical creature’s life, the Tartan world fought back. Crystal just happened to be caught between choosing to help her fellow human race kill magical creatures who have done Earth no harm or saving the magical planet of Tartan.

Q: Who is Thomas Johnson?

A: First born King of the magical planet, Tartan. The main male in Crystal Dreams, he takes his job. as King (Mita) seriously. I would too if I had a job of perfect luxury, and was married to the love of my life for over 4 centuries. 😉 His goal in Crystal Dreams was to find the reincarnated soul of his beloved Tara Rosa, and bring her back from the dead. In Killer Dreams Book 2, Thomas turned his attention to ruling over his people, and finding true love.

Q: Who is Jason Johnson?
A: Jason is a husband, and father. Second born to the Tartan throne, Jason goes by 2 royal titles: Rita (Prince) and Mita (King), but he prefers to be deemed a Prince due to the lesser royal duties as oppose to being deemed Mita (King). Though he’s officially the King’s most loyal subject and biological twin brother, Jason’s also loyal to his daughter, Risa (Princess) Merin, and faithful to his wife, the royal healer Ana. He went to war being on the front lines against the human race in honor of the royal family in Crystal Dreams Book 1. When he returned to the palace his daughter was kidnapped by demons masquerading as harmless humans. They’ve also convinced his wife to join them in trade for Merin’s freedom. Now, in Killer Dreams Book 2, Jason must fight to get Merin back without losing his wife to evil in the process.

Jason sworn his loyalty to Queen (Mifa) Tara Rosa when she ascended the Tartan throne 4 centuries ago, and only to that queen hence his harshness towards Crystal when she first appeared. He doesn’t take changes in life well, and also took it hard during the incidence with Tara Rosa leaving Thomas to bring Crystal to Tartan as the planet’s new queen. Usually the kind of person to smite first and ask questions later, Jason volunteered to go to war against the humans of Earth to protect his family.

Q: Who is Ana?
A: Ana was introduced in the first novel as a nurse who healed the royals, and magical creatures. Due to her affiliation to her King, Mita Thomas, Crystal Rose is the only known human Ana has agreed to help. She may be a strong woman in healing who doesn’t take crap from anyone, but she’s tender to her daughter, Risa (Princess) Merin. After Merin’s kidnapping, Ana took her child’s loss with extreme difficulty, and became obsessed with finding her even to the point of betraying the rest of her family. A little unknown secret about Ana: she used to be a demon before joining up with the royal family. Birthed on Earth under the demonic name Alister, she ruled over 4 legions of demons taking over the planet Earth, and causing havoc wherever she went. After going to Tartan, Ana turned to healing instead of killing, and became the royal family’s healer. She married Jason, the second born royal to the Tartan throne, and became mother to a precious pink haired bundle of energy. When her daughter was kidnapped she took it the hardest, and became obsessed with taking revenge on her child’s captors even returning to her demonic existence.

Q: Who is Merin?

A: The first born royal princess (also known as Risa) to the Tartan throne, Merin is the pink haired daughter to Jason and Ana. She has the abilities to sense the existence of children within a certain proximity, and can see the invisible sprites or spirits who inhabit the royal palace gardens. She is able to transform her appearance between being a child to a teenager to a full grown adult, but her personality remains that of a child. Though some of her physical appearance changes, her signature pink hair and magical eyes do not. Not many people know the little secret Merin holds. After her queen (Mifa), Tara Rosa, reincarnated into a human, she unknowingly received some of Tara Rosa’s abilities making her an equal, in power, to the Queen of Tartan rather than a subject. She is the first of any magical creature to accept the human Crystal on Tartan while everyone else abhorred her. Merin also stood at Crystal’s side during the planetary war between Earth and Tartan, and became loyal to her. She has unwavering loyalty to her King, Mita Thomas, and has become attached to Crystal because of Crystal’s affiliation to Thomas.
